TwentyNineGrams: Twenty Nine 'Grams - an ounce of truth (2013)

It's taken nearly the whole year, but here's 2013 in 29 shots. Some good, some silly, some meaningful, all honest. Taken on an iPhone by a Mann that doesn't know how to use a camera.

From 25th December 2012-25th December 2013: Twenty Nine 'Grams, an ounce of truth.

28th January 2012 - Zugspitze. 90 minutes out of Munich and 2,962m above sea level. My first solo snowboard trip. With no company, and no reason to stop, you soon run out of excuses - I spent two days hitting the same pair of reds again and again. My first taste of powder (literally...I took a mouthful), and the first time that I felt that I knew what I was doing on a snowboard.


24th February 2013 - Portugal. The adventures of Hula Stag. Bikini is models own.

25th February 2013 - Portugal. The Adventures of Hula Stag - Part II. The largest sand penis ever recorded.

25th February 2013 - Portugal. After three days of surfing, drinking, and making cock jokes it was time to go home. Good times.

31st March 2013 - Ilfracombe, Devon. Lots of smiles, and the sun shining on, as Hula Stag ties the knot.

31st March 2013 - Ilfracombe, Devon. Snuck up onto the roof for a moment of tranquillity and a G&T... and then the sun set.

23rd April 2013 - Apple UK, Stockley Park. "Did people have bigger heads in the 1980s?"

4th May 2013 - Chorleywood, UK. Meanwhile, down on the bayou...

6th May 2013 - Chorleywood, UK. Wat?

16th May 2013 - SpiceWorld London. This guy had the Millennium Falcon away in less than two parsecs...

15th June 2013 - VW Days. Ever wondered what would happen if you mixed the The Fast & The Furious with a load of European Hipsters, and all the alcohol in France on a former US Air base?

6th July 2013 - Spain. Being given the keys to you girlfriends fathers Porsche the first time you meet him, is an act of enormous trust. Not killing me when I returned it with two snapped valves, is an act of patience and virtue.


10th July 2013 - Spain. That face, those eyes, the way she chases things that aren't there, and ignores those that are.

20th July 2013 - The View from the Shard. I bloody love this town.

21st July 2013 - Toy's R Us, Milton Keynes. Lego.

9th August 2013 - There's no such thing as a "Cheap" super saloon. By the time I sold this, it had cost me £8,000 plus the purchase price. It was worth every penny.

25th August 2013 - Stoke Newington. Documenting, the documenting of breakfast.

30th August 2013 - Baskin Robins. Matt's pretty happy with that.

7th September 2014 - Hamley's - Clever Girl.

14th September - RollHard Duxford. Home Brew trophies at a home brew show. No gear, all the ideas.

19th October 2013 - Dad. One of those "good days". The ones where he knows who you are and can get a few words in order, and then he's gone again. Today, he said "I really love you" and then went back to fiddling with his shoes.

21st October - Apple UK. Playtime at Genius Wanted.

9th November 2013 - Driveway Repairs. Plans to switch the heater matrix were put on hold, when we discovered that there was no water in the car and a huge hole in the rad. Fixed with the help of Google and just enough brute force.
